Whether you’re developing a children’s show, producing family-focused content, or building an educational brand, I bring a unique blend of real-world Montessori classroom experience and creative insight to help you connect with young audiences in meaningful ways. A child development expert can ensure your production is not only heartfelt and compelling, but also ethically and educationally sound.
I help ensure your content is developmentally appropriate, emotionally respectful, and truly engaging for young children. From character design and dialogue to social-emotional themes and story structure, I bring a Montessori-informed lens to creative teams who want their work to be both magical and grounded.
Ideal for: Writers, producers, animators, and developers creating preschool or early childhood content.
With decades of hands-on experience guiding young children, I support productions featuring kids—helping young participants feel safe and confident while empowering crews to capture authentic, joyful moments.
Ideal for: Live-action shoots, interviews, documentaries, and commercial productions.
When Rainn Wilson’s docuseries The Geography of Bliss filmed an episode in Los Angeles exploring the nature of happiness, the production team reached out to feature the children at my Montessori preschool for their finale. I served as both a consultant and on-camera presence for a birthday party scene and group conversation where Rainn engaged with "sugar-rushed kids smashing piñatas" to understand what makes people happy.
With years of experience guiding group dynamics in early childhood settings, I helped introduce gentle structure to support the children and keep the scene joyful, safe, and flowing naturally.
Later, Rainn invited the children to share their thoughts on happiness in a filmed roundtable. As they eased into the moment, I offered warm-up prompts and playful ideas that reflected familiar Montessori practices. Those early connections helped open the door for the authentic, delightful dialogue that ended up in the final cut.
It was a joy to help bridge the world of early childhood with creative production—and a reminder that when children feel safe and seen, their voices truly shine.
The Montessori philosophy is rooted in deep respect for the child—their pace, their voice, and their innate desire to explore the world with purpose and joy. In both the classroom and the creative process, I’ve seen how powerful it is when we allow children to lead while still offering structure and gentle guidance.
Montessori education encourages independence, emotional regulation, and authentic expression—all of which translate beautifully to working with young children in media. When children feel respected rather than coached, they don’t just participate—they shine. My consulting approach mirrors this balance: helping productions create environments where children can follow their own curiosity, share their voices honestly, and deliver their best work within a calm, respectful framework.
I am a Los Angeles-based, Montessori-credentialed educator, preschool director/owner, and consultant with decades of experience in early childhood development—and a passion for bringing that expertise into creative, media-rich spaces.
With degrees in Montessori education, English literature, and art, I bring a deep understanding of how young children think, learn, and express themselves—whether in the classroom or on screen.
